I like my prime minister

KUALA LUMPUR: Dressed in an elegant business suit, Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi apologised for not wearing batik as he started his speech at the launch of the KL International Batik Convention.

“If my wife Endon were here, she would have admonished me. She would have delayed this function and told me to go home and change,” he quipped, drawing laughter from the 500-strong audience

I really like our prime minister. He let us see the 'humane' side of prime minister. At the end of the day, politicians are still human. They also need sex....ok ok I really like him. Lets not tease him.

Obviously he misses his wife. And I find that sweet.

I am really grateful that we have a prime minister like him. I really do.

Silver Lining

Sometimes, there is a little bit of sunlight on a rainy day....

Yesterday was a good day for me. Although I got a flu and had to work in the afternoon. But there are a couple of things that kept me happy:-

  1. Liverpool beat Wigan 3:0.....finally Couch scored!!! I quite like this guy. Sometimes, you need some luck to score. Luck has deserted him for more than 24 hours on the pitch. He has contributed so much to the club in terms of 'assist' but never quite did enough to score. He finally got a lot of luck and scored. The second goal was clear. No dispute. Good for him.
  2. KMT beat the shit out of DPP in Taiwan. I have never seen such a stupid president before in my life. I think even my cat can be a better president than Chen Shui Bian. He is really useless. I have no idea of what the Taiwanese have done to deserve a stupid president like him. Those who voted for him 2 years ago should really appologise to other Taiwanese
  3. My wife was here for the weekend...she obviously did not read my blog. So I am still alive....:D

Life could be tough. But if you sit back and take a break and start counting your blessings, you might find that it has not be that bad afterall...
