Junior : Hehe, now I remember who you are. You were the one who once kutuk Twinsmom.
RSS is a new feature introduced and it works best with blogs. Its something like a little routine/program among your HTML codes that works with special programs.
Each time you update your blog, the details inside the RSS routine will also be updated as well. Therefore, with special program like FeedReader, it will detect the changes inside the RSS routine and then notifies the use that this particular blog has updated his/her blog.
Example :
You updated your blog.
Inside RSS code :
*adds in details about the new post*
Special program like FeedReader :
*reads the RSS code from your blog*
*detects new details*
*notifies user about your updated blog*
Each blog, well, basically almost all blogs will have RSS, or Atom site feed for this function. It is usually at the top of your blog. Even before your blog template or settings.
An example of Atom or RSS
