I have decided to rewrite this because I feel that it does not offer the perspective I wanted to offer (chit...like I usually do so...)

At funeral and grave sites, Arabs mourn Arafat
CAIRO, Egypt (AP) - Yasser Arafat's funeral service began with humble prayers Friday and ended with an almost-triumphant procession, his flag-draped wooden coffin set on a horse-drawn gun carriage and followed by a crowd of presidents and kings. Arafat's widow and young daughter cried as they watched the casket being carried to a waiting plane.

This is life. You have to die afterall.

I think Yasser Arafat was probably one of the most controversial persons in history. Some mourned over his death. Some, especially the west might even clap their hand. If they know the tradition of fire cracker, they might go and buy the 12ft.

Personally, i don't like Arafat. He probably did not like me too. He had this cheeky look, like he had a lot to hide. He just did not look like an honest man. I would remember him as one who supported Iraq during the first Iraq war. That was probably the biggest mistake he ever made because he did not know what black and white was.

I would also remember him as someone who had 9 lifes. You know what I mean? If you do a research, you'll find he cheated death soooooo many times.

A very dedicated man who spent his entire life working for his Rakyat. That is how I would remember him.

But I want to say, you can work and sacrifice your entire life for something, but if you are not good enough, you are not good enough. You achieve nothing. I cannot remember a single thing which Arafat has done to make the situation better.

Arafat might be a good fighter (I say 'might' because I really have no idea how good he is in fighting). But he was surely not a good 'ruler'. He does not know how to run a country. If I put him in a corporate world context, He is like the Sales General Manager. He knew nothing but to fight. To run a country/company, you need COO, CFO and CEO. Someone offers the strategy perspective, someone offers the operation efficiency idea, someone does the management, someone does the dirty job, someone play the good guy, someone plays the bad guy. It is pretty tough and you can never do all these alone. When you refuse to tell your wife about your will or weath on your dying bed, you don't deserve any good comments. He was obviously a very paranoid person because he had no 'strategic partner' or close associate to fight the 'war' with him.

He was the CEO, CFO, COO and Sales GM of Palestine. And he made the mess out of it.

The difference between Liu Bang and Xiang Yu is that Liu Bang got a lot of buddies who went through the war with him and they all have different skills. If you want to win the war and rule the world, you need friends. Clever friends.

Rambo is also brave. That is why he suffer all the injuries and did not make it to the chief comandor.

Being brave is not good enough, Mr Arafat.
